Maxus to handle the media duties for Neo Sports
Neo Sports has decided to award the media mandate to GroupM’s Maxus. MEC was handling the media duties prior to this. Prasana Krishnan, COO, Neo Sports, has confirmed the development to exchange4media. Industry sources peg the business in the region of Rs 20-25 crore.
Neo Sports has roped in Maxus as its media agency. Prior to this, MEC was handling the media duties. The creative duties continue to be with McCann Erickson. Industry sources peg the business in the region of Rs 20-25 crore.

Sports and entertainment company Nimbus Communications had announced the launch of Neo Sports, a 24-hour cricket centric television channel in September 2006. The channel focuses on various cricket related programming, live coverage of both domestic and international cricket, interviews with top cricketers, analysis and sports entertainment.
