MPG has won the media duties for BNP Paribas bank. The account size is substantial but couldn’t be ascertained at time of filing the report. This is the first time BNP Paribas has sought a professional media agency. Prior to this, the bank was handling its media business in-house.
“BNP Paribas Bank is a business we are happy to handle at MPG Mumbai. There is a lot of expertise on the category within the team and we are confident we will be able to drive a lot of value for the business,” said Anita Nayyar, CEO, Havas Media, India, in a conversation with exchange4media.
BNP Paribas was the second foreign bank to start a dialogue with India in 1860 and today it is a key corporate bank in India. With branches in eight cities across the country, the group has three core business lines in India in corporate and investment, banking, investment solutions and retail banking.
BNP Paribas is a very active player in corporate and investment banking offering products across businesses which include fixed income and debt capital markets, structured finance, cash management and trade, export and project finance.
