The recent 2016 Internet Trends Report by Mary Meeker says that global internet user base, as well as smartphone sales, have seen a slowdown. As per the report, the global internet users stand at around 3 billion, however, the growth in new internet users globally has been flat with a growth rate of just 9 per cent seen in 2015, which was the same as in 2014
