- Top management members were reportedly asked to remain inside the office during the raids.

- This incident follows previous investigations into Dentsu India, including an Income Tax search in 2022 and probes by the Enforcement Directorate and Competition Commission of India in subsequent years.
Sources have told IMPACT that there were regulatory raids this morning at the Mumbai and Delhi offices of Dentsu India, one of the country's largest advertising and media networks.
Sources at their Mumbai office say that many employees were not allowed to enter the building in the morning, while some of the top management were asked to stay inside. They added that personal phones and laptops have been confiscated. Details about the reason for the searches, the specific entities covered and whether any documents have been seized were not immediately clear at the time of publication.
Dentsu India has been approached for a response, but we didn’t receive any comment at the time of filing the story.
The latest development comes against the backdrop of previous investigations involving Dentsu India, including an Income Tax search in 2022, an Enforcement Directorate probe in 2024 and a Competition Commission of India investigation involving major advertising agencies in 2025. This is a developing story.
