Excerpts:

How do you feel being part of this renowned list of 40 under 40 leaders?

It’s an honor to be featured in this prestigious 40 under 40 list, alongside such inspiring leaders in the communications industry. This recognition reflects the collective contributions of the remarkable mentors, peers, and partners who’ve shaped my journey. It’s a meaningful validation from an industry I’m deeply passionate about—and a powerful reminder of the evolving role of strategic communications in building authentic, impactful brand narratives. To be acknowledged by such a respected media house is both humbling and a testament of the importance of purposeful, authentic storytelling and the value our community brings to businesses.

What are the top 3 skills you believe are essential in today’s professional landscape?

In a constantly evolving landscape—driven by technology, shifting audience expectations, and real-time conversations—being agile isn't optional; it’s essential. Digital fluency goes beyond just being aware of the tools; it’s about leveraging automation, AI, and analytics to make smarter, faster, and more meaningful decisions. But at the core, it is also the ability to tell compelling, authentic stories—stories that resonate, build trust, and spark dialogue across mediums. No matter how the tools evolve, the power of a well-devised narrative will always lead the way.

What emerging trends or technologies do you believe will shape your industry in the next 5–10 years?

In the next 5-10 years, the communications industry will be reshaped by the fusion of AI, data intelligence, and immersive technologies. AI is set to accelerate how we create content, reach the right audiences and measure outcomes with greater accuracy.  However, the true value will lie in how we, as communicators, balance these technological advancements with human creativity and authentic storytelling. Audiences worldwide are increasingly drawn to real, purpose-driven narratives, and technology should amplify, not replace, these connections. The professionals who will lead in this space are those who will be able to combine digital fluency with empathy, creativity, and strong ethical values to craft stories that resonate across diverse platforms and cultures.

How do you define leadership in the modern workplace?

Leadership today is all about empathy, agility, and adaptability. It's no longer defined by hierarchy but by the ability to inspire trust, foster collaboration across diverse functions, cultures and time zones, and empower teams to excel. As a leader, it's crucial to listen actively, remain a constant learner, and drive impactful outcomes while maintaining an inclusive, psychologically safe space. The ability to lead with purpose, stay adaptable, and embrace change in an ever-evolving landscape is key to navigating today’s complex challenges and achieving sustained success.

What are your future plans? What’s one lesson you want to pass on to young professionals?

My focus will be on continuously growing as a communicator, a leader, and a lifelong learner. The communications landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by AI, data, and emerging platforms that redefine how we engage with our audiences. My goal is to stay ahead of the curve by embracing these advancements thoughtfully, always staying rooted in authenticity and purpose.

The best communicators are the most informed ones. For them, every challenge should be an opportunity to grow. And they shouldn’t shy away from technology. AI won't replace us, but professionals who know how to harness it will lead the way. Keep your core strong—values, storytelling, and empathy—and let everything else revolve around that.
