How do you feel being a part of the elite list?

It is an honour and a privilege to be accepting recognition from the industry I've been part of for over a decade. Exchange4media is a highly-regarded portal,which gives a complete overview of the Advertising, Marketing and PR industry affairs. Acknowledgement from such an established group is encouraging for everyone to do great work, inspire others and set examples for upcoming leaders.

What were the trends that kept 2019 buzzing in the communication industry?

PR is evolving faster than normal. Clients want to see innovative content, which is packaged well to reach their consumers. Technology is a boon that's making inroads and creating a revolution; however, I would like to highlight the vital role played by content in this gamut along with social media outreach to connect with consumers on an individual level. With reference to content, more than ever, we saw public tilting towards more emotional narratives.

No matter the platform, a story with a soul held importance, development of original and unique contents that connected with consumers. Secondly, 2019 also saw some significant social media campaigns receiving applauds. Social media will continue to play a crucial role in many businesses in the approaching year. Social media has given consumers a voice and PR professionals have used social media to create trends that have helped brands favourably. Influencers were leveraged by some brands to create emotions that were extended to their audience. 2019 saw the integration of brands and influencers, which will continue.

 How will this recognition by e4m add value to your profile and the communications industry at large?

Gerard C. Eakedale said, "Recognition is the greatest motivator." E4M doesn't need an introduction. It is a celebrated platform, which represents the advertising, marketing and PR industry. Receiving acknowledgement from E4M is an accomplishment for every individual/brand/company who has won. E4M is highly regarded and this kind of award is creating a much better, respected space for PR and corporate communication professionals. Highly gratified to be one of the winners of this esteemed forum.

 What are your future plans?

Without doing too much planning for 2020, I would like to continue doing good work for my clients, keeping my focus on self-development along with mentorship. I wish everyone a fulfilling 2020.
