Zarin Daruwala appointed Group CEO of PL Capital - Prabhudas Lilladher

PL Capital (Prabhudas Lilladher Group) has appointed Zarin Daruwala as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective October 13, 2025.

Before joining PL Capital, Zarin was the CEO for India and South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, where she guided the bank through a major phase of transformation and steady growth in the region. During her tenure, she reshaped the Retail Banking business to focus more on Wealth Management and strengthened the Corporate Banking division, positioning it as a key partner for innovation and growth in India’s changing economic landscape.

Zarin Daruwala, a veteran in the banking and financial services sector, brings with her more than 35 years of expertise spanning corporate and retail banking, governance, and strategic leadership.

Zarin will be instrumental in driving PL Capital’s next phase of growth, in line with the firm’s ambitious vision to expand its presence, enhance its capabilities, and scale operations across key areas including Broking & Distribution, Institutional Equities, Investment Banking, Corporate Advisory, Private Credit, Wealth Management, and Asset Management.
