Weber Shandwick ropes in new Regional Tech Head
Weber Shandwick appoints Barkha Patel-Zinzuwadia as Regional Head of Technology and Senior VP; she reports to Baxter Jolly, Vice Chairman, APAC

Weber Shandwick has appointed Barkha Patel-Zinzuwadia as Regional Head of Technology and Senior Vice President. She reports to Baxter Jolly, Vice Chairman, Asia Pacific.
The new appointment brings Patel-Zinzuwadia back to Singapore, where she first joined Weber Shandwick in 2002. Most recently she served as General Manager of Weber Shandwick in Thailand. Her new role also includes oversight of network clients in India.
Speaking on the appointment, Jolly said, “As the General Manager in Thailand, Barkha raised service standards and excellence of counsel to the next level. I am very confident that her outstanding leadership skills and impressive track record of client work will help us to strengthen our technology practice and expand our capabilities across Asia Pacific.”
Patel-Zinzuwadia’s recent career history includes working as Director of Global Communications at Temasek Holdings and as Asia Pacific PR Director for Business Objects (now a SAP company).
In her in-house roles, Patel-Zinzuwadia was responsible for all aspects of the communications function, including internal and academic communications, as well as analyst relations. Through 2003-2007, she worked as an Account Director with Weber Shandwick in Singapore, leading and managing a spectrum of key clients. Her specialisation has remained within the technology industry, and she has extensive experience working across global brands such as Compaq, HP, PeopleSoft, SunGard, Oracle and Microsoft.For more updates, be socially connected with us on
