Senior journalist, columnist and writer from Madhya Pradesh, Vijay Manohar Tiwari has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita Evam Sanchar Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. Many were in the race for the post of Vice Chancellor in the university which was vacant for about 6 months, but finally, Vijay Manohar Tiwari's name was finalised.
The government's public relations department issued the order for his appointment as MCU vice-chancellor on Tuesday, February 11. His tenure in this post will be four years.
Vijay Manohar Tiwari, who has been the State Information Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh, has also been a student of this university. He has also been awarded the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Journalism Award by the university for his excellent journalism.
Vijay Manohar Tiwari has served in various media groups for about 25 years. His appointment as Vice Chancellor has been done with the consent of the Chairman of the University General Council and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
