- Nami Zarringhalam, Truecaller’s Co-founder, noted Bhushan’s expertise in consumer business and understanding of fast-growing markets, while Bhushan will serve as an independent board member without holding shares in the company.
Truecaller has named Sandeep Bhushan as a member of its Board of Directors. Bhushan brings more than 20 years of experience across the technology, media, and consumer sectors.
Before joining the board, Bhushan served as India Director of Global Marketing Solutions at Meta. Over the years, he has also held senior positions at Samsung and Mint. At Samsung, he managed marketing and operator partnerships for the smartphone division, while at Mint, he was part of the founding team and worked as COO. He began his professional journey with Unilever, where he spent more than a decade in leadership roles.
Speaking about his appointment, Bhushan said that Truecaller has created a strong global platform where trust and monetisation need to grow together. He added that maintaining this balance is becoming increasingly important as digital ecosystems expand, and he looks forward to supporting the company’s next stage of growth.
Nami Zarringhalam, Co-founder of Truecaller, said Bhushan’s expertise in building consumer businesses and driving monetisation across global platforms will add valuable insight to the company’s journey. He also highlighted Bhushan’s deep understanding of fast-growing markets such as India and the APAC region.
Apart from this role, Bhushan also serves on the board of Traya Health. The company stated that he does not hold any shares in Truecaller and will function as an independent board member.
