Tony Zameczkowski has been appointed as SVP & General Manager, Direct-to-consumer (Disney+), APAC. In his new role, he will lead Disney's streaming business in APAC. He shared the news of his new role through a LinkedIn post.
“Thrilled to join The Walt Disney Company to lead our streaming business across APAC. I’ve long admired Disney’s storytelling magic and look forward to working with such a talented team to build on the success of Disney+ and take it to new heights with audiences across our dynamic region”, the LinkedIn post read.
Prior to this, Tony Zameczkowski was with Netflix for over 9 years. He last held the role of Vice President, Regional Co-Head & Head of Partnerships, Asia Pacific at the company.
