Tomasz Dziekan has been promoted to Chief Commercial & Operating Officer of dentsu Central Europe. In a statement, the company said that due to the ongoing integration of the CEE and DACH clusters, Tomasz Dziekan has assumed the position of Chief Commercial & Operating Officer within Dentsu's Central European (CE) structures.
In his new role, he is responsible for the integration and transformation of the CEE and DACH clusters, implementing business strategy, supporting growth, key negotiations and tenders, process automation, and coordinating operational and commercial activities across the region's markets.
Tomasz Dziekan has played a key role in Dentsu's operational and commercial transformation in Central and Eastern Europe for years. He successfully combines strategic thinking with a practical business approach, resulting in, among other things, the reorganization of media structures, increased profitability in CEE markets, the consolidation of creative activities, and the development of data- and technology-driven services.
His previous experience includes serving as CFO, COO, and CCO for the CEE region and Poland. He was also a key member of the management team during critical moments such as the pandemic, the launch of the Ukraine support program, and CEE integration.
In his new, expanded role, Tomasz Dziekan will be responsible for supporting the CE cluster's financial performance, cost optimization, profitability improvement, revenue development from new products and services, and overseeing M&A processes and strategic partnerships. He will also work directly with the CEOs of the sub-clusters and the central Dentsu EMEA operational and commercial team.
"Tomasz brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and operational effectiveness to the team. His ability to engage teams and implement comprehensive business solutions is crucial to the continued development of a highly integrated structure in Central Europe," comments Sławomir Stępniewski, CEO of Dentsu Central Europe & Poland.
