Times Network has appointed Shamsher Singh as Head of TV-Digital Integration for General News in Hindi and English, in addition to his role as Managing Editor - Digital (Hindi & Vernacular Languages).
This change aims to enhance coordination between the TV and Digital general news teams, focusing on cross-platform content utilization and resource optimization.
The initiative seeks to create a more efficient approach to news gathering and content creation while preserving the distinct identities and growth paths of each team.
The announcement was made through an internal communication to staff, emphasizing the goal of fostering collaboration between TV and Digital news entities.

Times Network has announced that Shamsher Singh, Managing Editor - Digital (Hindi & Vernacular Languages), will additionally take on the responsibility of Head – TV-Digital Integration (General News- Hindi and English).

“We are pleased to announce that Shamsher Singh, Managing Editor - Digital (Hindi & Vernacular Languages), will, with immediate effect, additionally take on the responsibility of Head – TV-Digital Integration (General News- Hindi and English) as part of continued efforts towards strengthening newsroom synergies across our TV and Digital entities. He will work towards enabling greater coordination between the TV and Digital general news teams (Hindi and English) and will focus on cross-platform content utilisation, resource optimisation and opportunities for greater collaboration,” the company conveyed in an internal communication.

“The objective is to create a more connected and efficient approach to news gathering, content creation and coverage, allowing news teams across TV and Digital to leverage each other's expertise and capabilities while continuing to maintain their distinct identities and independent growth trajectories,” the note read further.
