Rajat Sharma re-elected President of NBDA

Rajat Sharma was unanimously re-elected as President of the News Broadcasters and Digital Association (NBDA) for the term 2026-27 during a board meeting.
The NBDA, which represents 29 leading news and current affairs broadcasters, includes 136 news channels and digital platforms as members.
Jayant Mammen Mathew was appointed to the NBDA Board, while Rachna Burman and Kshipra Jatana were made Permanent Directors.
The NBDA Board also includes notable members such as M.V. Shreyams Kumar, Anuradha Prasad Shukla, Kalli Purie Bhandal, Anil Kumar Malhotra, Dhruba Mukherjee, Rahul Kanwal, and Mahesh Kumar Rajaraman.

Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, India TV, was today unanimously re-elected President of News Broadcasters and Digital Association (NBDA) for the year 2026-27, at the meeting of board of directors.

NBDA is the apex association which has presently 29 leading news and current affairs broadcasters (comprising 136 news channels and digital platforms) as its members.

Earlier, at the 19th Annual General Meeting, NBDA also welcomed Mr. Jayant Mammen Mathew, representing MM TV Ltd., who was appointed to the Board.

At the same meeting, Ms. Rachna Burman, Director--Public Policy & Content Assurance, The Times Group and Ms. Kshipra Jatana, Group General Counsel - Network18 Media & Investments Limited were made Permanent Directors in NBDA.
