Solution | Digitas appoints Nandu Narasimhan as NCD

Nandu Narasimhan has joined Solutions | Digitas as National Creative Director. Narasimhan has confirmed the development to exchange4media. Prior to this, he was with Saatchi & Saatchi as ECD for Delhi and Bangalore.

Speaking further on his new role, Narasimhan said, “I am very excited with this new role as I would be shifting to new age and digital media. This is the kind of role that has been on the top of my mind for quite some time now, and there is a lot of scope of learning in this new role as well.”

As is known, Publicis had rebranded Solutions, the India-Singapore marketing arm, to Solutions | Digitas last year.

Narasimhan had joined Saatchi & Saatchi as ECD in August 2008 for his second stint with the agency. In between his two stints with Saatchi & Saatchi, Narasimhan was with Vyas Gianetti Creative (VGC) as National Creative Director. He had begun his career with Tara Sinha Associates in 1989 as a copywriter. After a year, he moved to Everest Integrated Communications, Delhi, where he had handled brands such as Viva, Maltova and LML Vespa.

In 1993, he moved to Lowe (then Lintas), where he worked on the Maruti, Xerox, Casablanca and Steel Authority of India (SAIL) accounts. The four-year stint at Lowe was followed by a two-year stint at TBWA\India (then TBWA Anthem). Following that, he had returned to Lowe. Two years on, he moved to Contract as Creative Director, where his portfolio included Dabur and Domino’s Pizza, among others. Narasimhan was Regional Creative Director at Grey Worldwide from 2004-06. He then joined Saatchi & Saatchi Delhi in June 2006, where he worked on brands such as Sony Ericsson and Mother Dairy, before joining VGN.
