Satabdi Sharma Pathak has resigned from her role at Republic Media Network, according to sources familiar with the development.
Pathak was serving as National Head and South Branch Head at the network, where she handled monetisation and strategic partnerships across Republic TV, Republic Bharat, Republic Kannada and Republic Bangla. She was also closely involved in building Republic Kannada’s presence nationally under the positioning “Nimma Dhwani”.
During her over seven-year-long stint at the network, Pathak played a key role in driving advertising sales, branded content initiatives, regional market expansion and revenue partnerships across television, connected TV and digital platforms. She was among the senior business leaders spearheading the network’s South market strategy and advertiser engagement efforts.
Under her leadership, Republic Media Network strengthened several branded content and election-led initiatives, while also expanding its advertiser base across southern markets.
Before joining Republic Media Network in 2019, Pathak had worked with organisations including The Chernin Group, HISTORY TV18, Times Network, TV Today Network and Magna Publishing. Over the years, she built expertise across broadcast sales, influencer marketing, branded content, strategic partnerships and event monetisation.
At Times Network, she handled revenue for the English news cluster including Times Now and Mirror Now, while at Magna Publishing she worked on monetisation and partnerships for marquee IPs such as Stardust Awards, Society Achievers Awards and Savvy Women Achievers Awards.
