Ravi Makwana has taken charge as Chief Marketing Officer at Vadilal Industries Limited. He shared the update through a post on LinkedIn.
Expressing his excitement, Makwana wrote that working on Vadilal feels special, as it is a brand closely linked to his childhood. He said it is almost unreal to now be part of a company whose products he grew up enjoying. He also noted that the Indian ice cream market is entering an exciting phase, with established players becoming more aggressive and new brands introducing fresh formats and categories, making the competition even more intense.
Makwana joins Vadilal from Zydus Wellness, where he served as Category Head after joining the company in May 2024.
Earlier in his career, he has held roles with Tim Hortons India, Tata Consumer Products and Asian Paints.
