Preeti Vyas steps down as Amar Chitra Katha's CEO and President

Preeti Vyas, Amar Chitra Katha's CEO and President, has decided to move on after a 6-year stint. She shared the news of her departure from the company through a LinkedIn post.

“After six glorious years, I’ll be moving on from Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle Comics Studio this month. Leading these brands that shaped generations of Indians has been the honour of a lifetime”, she stated in a LinkedIn post.

Amar Chitra Katha (ACK) Pvt Ltd is India's oldest comic book company.

Reflecting on her journey, she said it taught her how to lead transmedia transformation—balancing heritage with innovation, while staying true to Mr. Anant Pai’s founding vision. “From navigating the pandemic to reimagining the brand for a post-Covid, phygital world, each challenge deepened my understanding of the content space in the most real way”, she added.

At Amar Chitra Katha Pvt Ltd, Preeti Vyas led a team of people who are focused on reinventing the company’s brands for a new generation of readers, driven by the mission of keeping Mr Pai's legacy alive and taking his profound work forward by creating new content across both our brands ACK and Tinkle.

Under her leadership, Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle have transformed into vibrant digital-first brands.

Vyas has previously worked with Crossword Bookstores, Globus Stores, Kidztown India, Future Group India, and Pantaloon Retail India.
