Pradeep Bakshi to step down as Voltas MD & CEO

Voltas Managing Director and CEO Pradeep Bakshi will be stepping down on completing his term in August, the company has said.
Mukundan Menon, the Executive Director and Head of room air-conditioners business, will be taking over as MD-designate in April.
Bakshi has been with Voltas for over two decades.
The company has said in its stock marketing filing: "The Board at its Meeting held on 29-01-2025, accepted the request of Mr. Pradeep Bakshi, Managing Director & CEO, who had expressed his desire not to seek reappointment as Managing Director & CEO upon completion of his current term on 31-08-2025. The Board, also unanimously approved (a) appointment of Mr. Mukundan C. P. Menon, currently Executive Director and Head - Room Air Conditioner Business of the Company, as Managing Director (Designate) effective 01-04-2025 and subsequently as the Managing Director effective 01-09-2025 and (b) appointment of Ms. Sonia Singh as Non Executive Independent Director."
