PepsiCo's Mauro Porcini moves on after 13 years

PepsiCo's Mauro Porcini, who held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Design Officer, has decided to step down. In a LinkedIn post, Mauro Porcini said that he will step down from his position by the end of March after being with the company for 13 years.

The LinkedIn post tiled, ‘A Heartfelt Goodbye After 13 Unforgettable Years at PepsiCo’ described Porcini’s journey at the company. He said the journey has been about people, the colleagues who became family, the partners who inspired him, and the leaders who believed in the power of design to shape the future.

“Almost 13 years ago, I embarked on a journey with PepsiCo, stepping into the role of the company’s first-ever Chief Design Officer to build a new design culture and organization from the ground up. It has been one of the most rewarding and transformative experiences of my life”, his LinkedIn post read.

“Today, I share the bittersweet news that I will be leaving PepsiCo at the end of the month, to embark on an exciting new chapter”, his post added.

Mauro Porcini joined PepsiCo as Chief Design Officer in 2012 and was elevated to the role of SVP & Chief Design Officer in September 2013.
