Pankaj Jain has joined Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India) as Director – Legal. Pankaj brings over 25 years of rich and diverse experience in corporate legal leadership across leading organizations in the Pharma, Insurance, and Professional Services sectors. He has a strong track record in driving legal strategy, strengthening governance frameworks, managing complex litigation, and enabling business growth through proactive risk mitigation, stated a press note.
In his most recent role as Head Legal at AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd., Pankaj contributed shaping patent strategy, managing high-stakes legal matters, and supporting strategic business transactions, including partnerships, licensing, and regulatory engagements. Prior to this, he has held leadership roles at organizations such as Strides Arcolab Limited, Sistema Shyam Teleservices (MTS), HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Cholamandalam MS General Insurance, and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance,
