Munir Lamba, who led ITC as vice president and head of marketing - chocolates, confectionery & coffee, has joined Marico Egypt as country business head. Lamba shared the news in a LinkedIn update.
“I’m thrilled to share that I have joined Marico, an organization renowned for its iconic brands, unique culture and people focus, as the Country Business Head for Egypt,” he wrote.
"Having worked in food businesses for almost two decades, I'm excited about the enriching and stimulating learning of leading a personal care business alongside the opportunity to operate in a different geography and culture. I would like to thank all my wonderful colleagues, mentors and team members from the Dairy & beverage cluster and the CCC (Chocolates, Confectionery and Coffee) businesses for being there with me during the last 7 years at ITC Foods ?."
Lamba was with ITC for seven years. Before joining ITC, he was with Perfetti Van Melle India for nine years.
