Malcolm Mistry joins DNA as CEO

As confirmed by industry insiders, Malcolm Mistry, who had quit India Today Merged Entity (ITME) as Publishing Director in January this year, has joined DNA as CEO. He will report to Group CEO Dr Bhaskar Das and the Board.

Mistry’s stint with the India Today Group lasted over 18 years. During his tenure, magazines such as India Today Spice, India Today Home, India Today Woman, India Today Aspire, and Robb Report were launched.

At India Today, Mistry oversaw integration of sales force activities and for all the language editions of India Today, its business publications and Reader’s Digest.

Post his exit from the India Today Group, Mistry announced his new entrepreneurial venture, Ushta Te HR Consultancy Services LLP. Initially based in Mumbai, the firm started with recruitment across certain industries such as media, advertising and luxury.
