Kirk Perry has been appointed as the interim Chief Executive Officer of Kenvue. He announced the development through a LinkedIn post, sharing his excitement about taking on the leadership role. Perry, who joined Kenvue’s board of directors late last year, highlighted his long-standing connection with the healthcare industry, which began during his early days at Procter & Gamble several decades ago.
In his post, Perry humorously referred to this as “quite possibly the shortest retirement ever” and expressed his admiration for Kenvue’s iconic brands and the talented team driving them. He stated that he is honoured to take on the interim CEO role, with a focus on realizing the company’s full potential and creating value for shareholders.
“Quite possibly the shortest retirement ever. When I first joined P&G a "few" decades ago, I started in the health care business and have loved the industry ever since. I joined the board of directors of Kenvue late last year because of the company’s iconic brands and the talented people behind them. Now, I’m very honored to take on a new role as Interim CEO and work to realize Kenvue’s full potential and deliver value creation for shareholders. It's been an incredible week so far, getting to know the amazing talent here as well as deep diving into every element of the business. Buckle up, it's going to be an amazing ride”, the LinkedIn post read.
