Junglee Games elevates Co-Founder Kapil Rathee to CEO

Junglee Games has announced a planned leadership transition, appointing co-founder Kapil Rathee as Chief Executive Officer.

As part of the change, Abhishek Bharti, formerly SVP Technology, has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer, and Bharat Bhatia, previously CMO, is now Chief Business Officer. This transition aligns with Flutter Entertainment’s Asia Pacific strategy and reflects a carefully structured succession plan.

Kapil, who joined Junglee in May 2015, has played a key role in the company’s growth over the past 11 years. He has held multiple leadership positions, including VP of Product, Chief Product Officer, and President, before becoming Co-founder in 2023. His promotion to CEO recognises his significant contributions to business growth, innovation, and company culture. In his new role, Kapil will lead the company’s next phase of expansion, supported by Bharat and Abhishek, focusing on product innovation and advancing Flutter’s long-term objectives in the region.

As part of the transition, Ankush will remain an advisor to the board, supporting strategic initiatives.
