Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd (RRVL) has appointed Jeyandran Venugopal as its new President and CEO. He moves to the company after spending six years at Flipkart, where he served as the Chief Product & Technology Officer.
Venugopal brings over 25 years of experience across retail, e-commerce, technology and digital transformation. In the past, he has held key leadership roles at Myntra, Jabong, Yahoo and Amazon Web Services.
As per reports, in an internal communication, Isha Ambani, Executive Director of RRVL, mentioned that Venugopal will work closely with her and the broader Reliance Retail leadership team, under the guidance of Mukesh Ambani and Manoj Modi. His focus will be on strengthening the company’s retail portfolio, accelerating omni-channel growth, and driving technology and operational excellence throughout the business.
