GCPL appoints Vishal Kedia as Interim Chief Financial Officer

- Godrej Consumer Products Limited has appointed Vishal Kedia as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective August 12, 2026.
- Kedia will retain his current role as Head of Strategy, FP&A, and Investor Relations while serving as CFO.
- The appointment follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
- Kedia's additional responsibilities include being a Member of the Risk Management team, succeeding Aasif Malbari, who has transitioned to MD & CEO.
Godrej Consumer Products Limited has appointed Vishal Kedia as the Interim Chief Financial Officer of the company. This will be in addition to his existing role of Head- Strategy, FP&A and Investor Relations.
The announcement has been made by the company in a BSE filing.
“Upon recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, the Board of Directors have approved appointment of Mr. Vishal Kedia as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company with effect from August 12, 2026. He shall continue to discharge the responsibilities of his existing position as Head- Strategy, FP&A and Investor Relations, in addition to the responsibilities of Interim Chief Financial Officer until a suitable candidate is formally appointed to this position,” the company informed.
The Board has further approved the appointment of Vishal Kedia as a Member of the Risk Management.
Kedia has been given additional responsibility as the CFO after Aasif Malbari, who had been serving as the company’s CFO and Global Chief Financial Officer, was appointed the MD & CEO to succeed Sudhir Sitapati.
