- NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL) has appointed Gaurav Kochhar as Chief of Business, focusing on merchant acquisition and business development.
- Kochhar has over 20 years of experience in banking, fintech, and telecommunications, previously leading UPI and digital payments at ICICI Bank.
- His past roles include leadership positions at HDFC Bank, Vodafone, and Spice Communications.
- NBSL's MD & CEO, Lalitha Nataraj, emphasized Kochhar's expertise in digital payments and partnership building as key to strengthening the company's ecosystem and expanding its offerings.
NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has appointed Gaurav Kochhar as Chief of Business.
Kochhar will be responsible for merchant acquisition, business development and deepening engagement with banks, fintechs and ecosystem partners to expand the reach of NBSL’s products and services.
Kochhar brings over two decades of experience across the banking, fintech and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining NBSL, Gaurav led the UPI, Digital Payments and API Banking business at ICICI Bank. He has also held leadership positions at organisations including HDFC Bank, Vodafone and Spice Communications.
