Senior journalist and television anchor Garima Singh has stepped down from Hindi news channel News24 after nearly three years, according to sources familiar with the development.
Singh joined the channel as Senior Executive Editor and hosted the prime-time programme Sabse Bada Sawal.
The reason behind her departure has not been disclosed, and there is no official word yet on her next professional move.
Before joining News24, Singh served as Executive Editor at Bharat Express, where she anchored the prime-time show Satya. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Sahara Media, overseeing the group's regional channels covering Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi-NCR.
With more than two decades of experience in journalism, Singh began her career as a reporter with Dainik Jagran in 2003 before moving to Total TV as a crime reporter. She later worked with Live India, P7 News, Network18, Samachar Plus and Zee News.
Singh has also served as Editor-in-Chief of The Capital Post.
