Doordarshan has roped in Rina Sonowal Kouli as its new Director General. The company shared the news of her appointment through a social media post.
“As she takes on this new responsibility, Doordarshan looks forward to her leadership and guidance in further strengthening the organisation, expanding its reach, and building deeper engagement with audiences across the nation”, the Facebook post read.
In her new role, Kouli will provide leadership and guidance as Doordarshan works to further strengthen its organisation and expand its reach.
The broadcaster said it looks forward to working under Kouli's guidance as it continues its role as a key public service broadcaster and strengthens its connection with audiences nationwide.
