dentsu has elevated Harini Muralidharan as the new Chief People Officer (CPO) for its South Asia operations, following a significant leadership transition within the network. Muralidharan, who has been with dentsu for over three years, steps into the role after serving in multiple senior HR leadership positions across the organisation.
In her most recent mandate, Harini served as Cluster HR Director – India, Financial Services & India Business Platforms, where she oversaw cluster operations across India and Sri Lanka. Her responsibilities included driving commercial growth, stewarding global finance services, and leading cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment, efficiency, and strategic impact across diverse business units.
Before this, she held the role of Human Resources Director, leading HR for dentsu’s Global Financial Services, Transformation, and Business Platforms teams. With a strong focus on organisational effectiveness, leadership development, coaching, and long-term talent strategy, Muralidharan played a key part in strengthening dentsu’s people function during a phase of transformation.
Muralidharan brings over two decades of experience across global organisations such as Tesco, Juniper Networks, Ericsson, NetApp, and Infosys. Across these roles, she has led large-scale HR programs, organisational transitions, compensation restructuring, culture-building initiatives, and Great Place to Work (GPTW) certifications, often driving major leaps in rankings and employee advocacy.
