Deepspatial gets Barsha Nag Bhowmick as Executive Editor - Digital & MarCom

Deepspatial has hired Barsha Nag Bhowmick as the Executive Editor - Digital & MarCom. In this role, Barsha will be responsible for shaping and driving Deepspatial’s content strategy, digital storytelling, and marketing communications. She will report to Saurabh Tyagi, Chief Marketing Officer at Deepspatial.

With over two decades of experience in editorial leadership, digital media operations, and content strategy, Barsha is a seasoned media professional whose portfolio spans writing news, business and lifestyle stories, developing digital content, producing video scripts, managing teams, and leading content innovation for digital platforms. She brings with her a strong track record of impactful storytelling, operational excellence, and strategic thinking honed across some of India’s most respected media organizations.

Barsha joins Deepspatial from Times Internet, where she served as a Special Content Producer. In her role, she worked in a multimedia environment, leading video strategies, scripting original video content, editing news features, and overseeing content management systems. She also wrote blogs and columns for the Times of India, contributed to video-driven storytelling, and led a team of content professionals to deliver high-quality journalism across platforms.

Her previous roles include Assistant Editor and News Editor at Times Internet, where she shaped editorial direction and content planning. Prior to this, she served as Senior Chief Copy Editor and Reporter at Hindustan Times, where she led a team of over 40 editors and contributed extensively to HT City. Her experience also includes managing internal and external communications at S. Chand & Company, where she served as Assistant Editor - Publicity.

Barsha's deep understanding of both traditional and new media, combined with her ability to drive digital transformation in content strategy, aligns seamlessly with Deepspatial’s mission of using AI and data to create real-world impact. Her leadership is expected to significantly strengthen Deepspatial’s digital and marketing communication efforts, making the company’s vision and innovations more accessible and engaging to a diverse audience.
