Dainik Bhaskar has entrusted senior journalist Pawan Kumar Sharma with a significant new responsibility, promoting him to the position of Editorial-in-Charge of Ambala. Prior to this role, Sharma was based in Delhi, serving as News Editor and covering major beats such as the Supreme Court, CBI, and NIA.

About two years ago, Dainik Bhaskar had promoted Pawan Kumar Sharma from Special Correspondent to News Editor. He has now been promoted again as the Editorial in-Charge of Ambala unit.

Originally from Sonipat, Haryana, Pawan Kumar Sharma brings nearly 25 years of media experience to the table.

He began his journalism career in 2000 with Punjab Kesari in Sonipat, later working briefly with Hari Bhoomi before joining Dainik Jagran in Sonipat. During his tenure at Dainik Jagran, he launched a column titled Raat Ka Reporter, which gained considerable attention and was eventually adopted across all editions of the newspaper.

In his career, Pawan Kumar Sharma was with Amar Ujala Panchkula as a crime reporter in 2005. After serving his duties in this newspaper for about two years, he again joined Dainik Jagran in 2007 where he looked after many beats in Ludhiana, Patiala and then Delhi and then started court reporting.
