Satyajit Sengupta has joined Hindustan Times Media Ltd. as Executive Director.

This followed e4m's earlier report on Sengupta’s departure from the Dainik Bhaskar Group.
Sengupta brings extensive experience in media sales and marketing to the role, having served as the Chief Corporate Sales and Marketing Officer at Dainik Bhaskar Group since 2017. Based out of the corporate office in Mumbai, he reported directly to the company’s director Girish Agarwal during his tenure there.
Before joining Dainik Bhaskar, Sengupta held key positions at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), including as Associate Vice President and Metro Head in Gurgaon, where he led revenue generation efforts for all Times Group publications.
His experience also includes a significant stint at the India Today Group, where he served as Deputy Branch Head Impact, managing ad sales for the northern region for over four years. Sengupta began his career with Indian Express in 1998.
