Campbell Wilson steps down as AI Express Chairman

Campbell Wilson, the CEO and MD of Air India, has stepped down as the Chairman of Air India Express. Nipun Aggarwal, a Tata Group veteran, will take his place, according to media reports.
The news was shared by the Air India Express Chairman through an internal memo. He took the opportunity to express that many of the structural changes at the Air India Group related to rebuilding the entity have been completed.
He acknowledged that the time is right for him to step down and make way for Aggarwal.
Wilson has been the CEO and MD of Air India since June 2022. He was previously the chief executive of Scoot, a Singaporean low-cost airline where he had worked since 2011.
He was with Singapore Airlines as the acting senior vice president of Sales and Marketing after Scoot.
