Apurva Sircar appointed CEO at Flying Man Ventures

Apurva Sircar, who recently quit Bandhan Bank, has joined Leander Paes’s Flying Man Ventures as Chief Executive Officer. He announced the news of his new role on LinkedIn.

“I join as the CEO of Flying Man Ventures (FMV), a company Leander founded. My role will be to drive the various businesses that FMV plans to venture into. Through sport, sports education, health & wellness, corporate collaborations, entertainment, and other avenues, we aim to create a lasting and deep impact in making the world around us a better place. More details to follow”, he stated in his LinkedIn post.

In his post he said, “As I begin my days at FMV, I feel excitement and nervousness in equal measure. The latter gets taken care of whenever Leander says (and says often), “I got you, champ!” It is my privilege to be Leander’s full-time professional partner off the court”.

Prior to joining Flying Man Ventures, Apurva Sircar was with Bandhan Bank for over 7 years. He last held the role of Senior Vice President And Head Of Marketing at the bank.

Apurva Sircar is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in marketing across diverse industries. In his previous stints, Apurva Sircar has worked with Ageas Federal Life Insurance, Birla Sun Life Insurance, Kotak Mahindra Bank among others.
