Colors continues to lead pay platform and urban market in BARC Week 4

Dangal TV remained the number one channel across Hindi U+R segments and free platforms

In week 4, Dangal continued to lead the Hindi GEC (U+R) segment with 1206187 (000s) impressions followed by Colors TV on the second position with 755866 (000s) impressions and Star Plus on the third spot with 646564 (000s) impressions. Zee TV and Sab TV bagged fourth and the fifth spot with 603630 (000s) and 601584 (000s) impressions respectively.

Dangal’s Mahima Shanidev Ki remains the leading show in Week 4 with 16562 (000s) impressions followed by other three shows on the same channel, Bandini 16242 (000s) Baba Aiso Var Dhundo 16043 (000s) and Dwarkadeesh Bhagwan Sri Krishna 15593 (000s). Zee TV’s primetime show Kundali Bhagya bags the fifth spot with 14095 (000s) impressions.

In the Hindi speaking market (HSM) (U+R) among the pay platforms, Colors continued to lead the top ten channels list. The channel registered 754805 (000s) weekly impressions followed Star Plus on the second slot with 645327 (000s) impressions and Zee TV stood on the third spot with 602209 (000s) impressions. Sony Sab and Sony Entertainment Television grabbed fourth and fifth spot with 599954 (000s) and 468339 (000s) respectively.

In top five programmes category, Zee TV’s primetime show Kundali Bhagya bagged the first slot with 14058 (000s) impressions followed by Colors’ Naagin Bhagya Ka Zehrila Khel and Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya on second and third spot with 12917(000s) and 11918 (000s) respectively. Colors’ Choti Sardarani grabbed the fourth spot with 11426 (000s) meanwhile Sony Sab’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma entered top-five programme list with 9883 (000s) impressions.

In the Urban market

In the urban market of week 4, Colors maintained its top slot with 539381 (000s) impressions followed by Star Plus on the second position with 434556 (000s) weekly impressions. Sony Sab and Sony Entertainment Television bagged third and fourth spot with 433182 (000s) and 350644 (000s) impressions respectively. Zee TV fell to the fifth spot with 343344 (000s) impressions. 

In the top five programmes, ZeeTV’s Kundali Bhagya bagged the top slot with 8124 (000s) impressions followed by Colors two shows on the second and third slot with Naagin Bhagya Ka Zehrila Khel 8015 (000s) and Choti Sardarni 7648 (000s) impressions. Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma bagged the fourth spot with 7053 (000s) and Bigg Boss on Colors was at number five with 6931 (000s) weekly impressions.   

In the Rural market

In the rural market, Dangal TV led the top ten channel list with 937774 (000s) impressions followed by Big Magic on the second position with 303593 (000s) impressions and Zee TV on the third spot with 260286 (000s) impressions. Colors and Star Plus bags fourth and fifth spot with 216485 (000s) and 212008 (000s) impressions respectively. 

In the top five programmes, all the slots were bagged by Dangal TV’s shows. Mahima Shanidev Ki remains number one show with 13325 (000s) impressions followed by Bandini on second with 13254 (000s), Dwarkadeesh Bhagwan Sri Krishna on third with 12904 (000s) impressions. Baba Aisa Var Dhundo and Kitani Mohabbat Hai are in fourth and fifth spot with 12641 (000s) and 10083 (000s) impressions respectively.
