While addressing consumer engagement through a completely new approach at the Pitch CMO Summit Bangalore 2019, Pradeep Hejmadi, Group CEO, Aidem Ventures spoke at large about ‘the power of emotion in marketing’.
Emotional engagement is the most important way to understand the customer, said Hejmadi. According to him, technology is the enabler that helps in emotional engagement with the customer.
Hejmadi demonstrated how their product Sensai can be used to track engagement levels of audiences. This tech innovation helps in brand growth by giving emotional insights to marketers by tracking non-verbal emotions. “The inbuilt brainwave mapping tool gauges emotions driven by engagement. Be it short content such as promos, commercials, etc., or TV series, Sensai provides real-time and actionable insights. It enables a new era in tracking, which is non-biased,” he said.
“It's about emotional engagement,” he added. "The AV on Sensai said that the world of marketing reach and consumer insights is tricky and it isn’t ideal to trust mere words, because words may hide but emotions don’t. Sensai urges brands to conquer the senses of their consumers."
Sensai, according to Hejmadi steps into the future of market research and consumer insights where no questions are framed and no answers are sought. “With the usage of artificial intelligence, Sensai adopts a three-pronged process to create insights and fuel brand growth in all sectors where subjects eye move, where they fixate allowing accurate assessment of exact product viewing using the webcam,” said Hejmadi.
This technology, according to Hejmadi, is real-time and GDPR compliant too.
