OYO Hotels appoints Prasidha Menon as the Head of Communications
She will be responsible for delivering OYO's mission of redefining the future of living, through sustained corporate reputation management programs & targeted brand-building campaigns
Hospitality chain, OYO Hotels has appointed Prasidha Menon as the Head of Communications.
With over 13 years of experience, Menon will be looking at both internal and external communications for OYO in India and other international markets. She will be responsible for driving OYO's reputation forward and delivering against the company's mission of redefining the future of living, through sustained corporate reputation management programs and targeted brand-building campaigns. She will be a thought partner to every OYOpreneur, enabling them to share their side of the story.

Before joining OYO, Menon was leading communications for Uber in India and South Asia. This involved managing communications for several business milestones, strategic partnerships, executive visits, geo expansion, product launches, including market entry for the UberEats business and its expansion in over 20+ cities in India in less than 15 months.
Prior to this, she has worked Edelman India as their technology account director. She holds a BA of Commerce (Honours), an MBA in Marketing & Finance, and was the winner of Edelman’s coveted D.J.E. Fellowship Program, which gave her the opportunity to work for Edelman Digital in San Francisco for two years.
Menon has earlier won the coveted Promise Foundation Award for Young Ace Business Communicator of the Year (Agency) in 2015. More recently, she was featured in the Reputation Today’s 40 under 40 list of communications professionals for 2017.
