Nestle's head of brand communication calls it quits

Akash Deep Batra has quit as head of brand communication, Corporate Brand & NHW at Nestle. He confirmed the same on his LinkedIn profile. He had joined Nestle as Regional Digital Marketing and eCommerce Manager (Asia Pacific) in October 2013.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, Batra started off as a software engineer at tech giant Infosys.
Batra says in a recent post on LinkedIn, "I am flying off the Nest after 7 years of incredible memories of some phenomenal projects working with absolutely outstanding people. For me the high points of my time at Nestle included setting up the DAT & leading digital acceleration in India, supporting over 14 markets as the digital champion for zone AOA and working on amazing brands & brand campaigns with some of the best brand builders and marketers in the world. All of this and more has been possible because of the unstinted support from the best teams that I have I worked with."

I have developed personal bonds with so many within the Nestle family and partner companies that I will cherish for life.
