Droom to call for a media pitch by November
Droom has magnified its marketing spend from Rs. 225 crore to Rs. 400 crore for FY 2018-19
Online auto marketplace, Droom is expected to initiate a media pitch most likely before the end of November, highly placed sources have told exchange4media.
The company currently has no media agency on board. Droom until a few weeks ago worked with Wavemaker and before that with Maxus, both GroupM agencies since commencing its commercial operations in January 2015.
Droom magnified its marketing spend from Rs. 225 crore to Rs. 400 crore for FY 2018-19, a 77 per cent increase. Out of the total Rs 400 crore marketing budget, it has allocated Rs 150 crore for digital media marketing, Rs 150 crore for ATL/BTL activities, another Rs 50 crores towards CSR related campaigns and Rs 50 crore for attractive deals and promotions to attain better customer engagement and experience.
