Production banner Bridge7 has acquired the TV rights for the sequel of Slumdog Millionaire, as per media reports.
Bridge7 is run by Swati Shetty and CAA agent Grant Kessman.
The rights have been acquired from UK firm Celador.
Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire, starring Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, bagged eight Oscars, including best director and best picture.
The movie's music was scored by A.R. Rahman and won seven BAFTA Awards and four Golden Globes.
