Doordarshan will telecast first ever animated TV serials for children in Malayalam from Saturday. Titled ‘Kattile Kannan’ (the Kannan of the forests), the serial would be telecast in 101 episodes.

Doordarshan will telecast first ever animated TV serials for children in Malayalam from Saturday. Titled ‘Kattile Kannan’ (the Kannan of the forests), the serial would be telecast in 101 episodes.
Produced by Biju Suramya, it’s a story about a little elephant as the central character with several other characters like a deer, a bear, a lion, a tortoise, etc.
Refusing to go into the expenses involved, he said that the cost was over one-and-a-half times more than that for an average serial now being telecast.
