Exhicon Events Media Solutions Limited (EXHICON) has achieved a landmark milestone by expanding its exhibition venue development pipeline to 125,000 square metres, equivalent to 25% of India’s current operational indoor exhibition capacity of approximately 500,000 square metres.

The milestone establishes EXHICON as one of the country’s largest private contributors to purpose-built exhibition infrastructure, supporting India’s rapidly growing meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector.

More than 60,000 square metres of EXHICON’s venue development portfolio is expected to be completed during FY 2026–27, adding significant new capacity to India’s exhibition ecosystem.

The latest addition to this portfolio is the 30,000-square-metre exhibition infrastructure project awarded by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) for the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027 at Yashobhumi, New Delhi.

Beyond developing exhibition venues, EXHICON has created an integrated Venue as a Service (VAS) platform that combines venue development, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), exhibition infrastructure, venue operations and event execution, enabling venue owners to maximise utilisation, improve operational efficiency and enhance long-term asset value.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. M. Q. Syed, Chairman & Managing Director of EXHICON, said:

“Reaching a venue development pipeline equivalent to one-quarter of India’s current indoor exhibition capacity reflects our long-term commitment to building the country’s exhibition infrastructure. As India expands its MICE ecosystem, our focus remains on delivering world-class venues supported by integrated operations, maintenance and infrastructure solutions that create sustainable value for venue owners and event organisers alike.”

With a growing national footprint and integrated execution capabilities, EXHICON continues to play a significant role in developing the infrastructure required to support India’s ambition of becoming one of the world’s leading MICE destinations.
