BCCI signs Rs 270-cr sponsorship deal with Google’s Gemini for IPL 2026

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has secured a Rs 270-crore sponsorship deal with Google’s AI platform Gemini ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL), according to a PTI report.
As per media reports, the three-year agreement underscores the IPL’s growing global appeal, a BCCI official told PTI.
Gemini’s rival ChatGPT is currently among the sponsors of the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL).
The Tata Group continues to hold the title sponsorship rights for the IPL.
The upcoming season of the league is scheduled to be played from March 26 to May 31.
