Jishnu Sen, advertising and marketing veteran and former CEO of Grey India, has passed away.
Sen was known for his strategic acumen and people-first leadership.
His cousin, Shubho Sengupta, shared the news on social media. "Deeply saddened to share my cousin Jishnu Sen passed away in the early hours this morning. He had a long and distinguished career in advertising and marketing and had settled in Bangalore. He had a tremendous life force and, in spite of his ailment over the last few years, lived life to the fullest."
Sen served as COO before being elevated to CEO.
Prior to Grey India, he held leadership roles at JWT and Y&R across India, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States. He was in senior marketing and advisory positions at organisations, including Essar Telecom Retail, Future Retail (Big Bazaar), Bergner India, Porter and DealShare.
