The Adani Group has come up with another short-film for Adani’s Solar Park. This is the third instalment of the ‘Hum Karke Dikhate Hai’ series titled ‘Suraj Bhaiya Hain Na’.
The commercial finds a cheerful man coming back to his village in Rajasthan to find that major developments have taken place in the irrigation, healthcare, and internet connectivity spheres. He finally realizes that all of this is now possible due to Adani’s Solar Park.
The film says that due to the solar park’s remarkable changes the villagers are living a smoother life than before. Sustainability is also a major factor that the film sheds light on, just like the first instalment of the ‘Hum Karke Dikhate Hai’ series regarding the wind turbines, titled ‘Pehle Pankha Aayega, Phir Bijli Aayegi.’
Ajay Kakar, Head of Corporate Branding at Adani Group, sums up the motive, saying “At Adani, we are not just generating electricity – we are creating pathways for progress. This film reflects the real impact of solar energy on everyday life. The transformation of one town is emblematic of the change we’re enabling across India.”
The high-end production of the commercial takes us through the lush green crop fields of Rajasthan, welcoming alleyways, and a joint family household in the village, which adds a tone of familiarity to the entire story visually. The grandeur of the solar park is also shown accordingly at the end of the commercial when ‘Suraj’ is finally revealed as the vast solar farm in their village. The blend of rural livelihoods and urban technological expansions is finally achieved as the big reveal. Close-ups of our protagonist’s facial expression express the pride that he feels as he sees these developments.
Piyush Pandey, the Chief Advisor of Ogilvy India, mentioned, “Adani adds one more human touch to technology with its new Solar energy film. Story of Suraj shines by showing how solar energy brings life-changing opportunities to communities, helping them build a brighter future.”
The personification of the solar park by naming it ‘Suraj’ is also a way of humanizing the entire campaign, as we tend to attach nicknames to the things and people we love and care about. This narrative of revelation not only enhances brand perception but also fosters a deeper connection with the public, making Adani Group as a catalyst for sustainable solutions and overall development.
