The week gone by has seen many interesting developments. This week the much awaited TRAI tariff order judgment of the Madras High Court was pronounced, with The Court ruling in favour of the order with one exception. We also saw HSBC Bank moving their global business from WPP’s Mindshare to Omnicom’s PHD.
The Supreme Court also imposed a fine on Google and Facebook for failing to remove sexual content from their websites. This week also saw the launch of Publicis Groupe’s AI-powered innovation, Marcel, while The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law came into force as well this week.
As the week came to a close, we saw Mihir Bhatt resigning as Deputy Editor of Zee Business, and Praveen Someshwar being appointed as CEO and MD at Hindustan Times Media.
