Vasundhara Mudgil, a seasoned communications professional with nearly two decades of experience, has announced her move to OpenAI as part of the company’s India communications team. She has joined as India Comms Lead.
Mudgil shared the news on LinkedIn, writing, “After seven fantastic years at Spotify, I’m set for the next challenge at OpenAI. An immense amount of learning to apply, and even more unlearning to do, but always such a thrill to be a part of the market’s core growth team!”
Before joining OpenAI, Mudgil spent seven years at Spotify, where she played a key role in shaping the company’s communications and market growth strategy in India. Her career spans close to two decades across leading organizations including Intel and Genesis, with expertise in communications, storytelling, content creation, crisis management, negotiation, and business development.
Her move comes at a time when OpenAI continues to expand its global footprint and engagement in key international markets, including India.
