Celebrating Sumeet Chatterjee’s birthday: A journey of communication excellence

Today, we extend our warmest birthday wishes to Sumeet Chatterjee, a seasoned leader in corporate communication whose career includes building iconic brands, leading agencies, and some of India’s most respected conglomerates through his expertise in media relations, crisis management, internal communication, and digital marketing.

Sumeet began his professional journey as an Assistant Sales Executive at Eastman Kodak, before transitioning to the advertising and communication world with stalwarts like JWT, Lintas, Ogilvy & Mather, and Radio Mirchi. After transitioning to the brands side, he has been a leading contributor to developing brand communication strategies for multinational and domestic giants including Pepsi, RPG Group, Hero Cycles, Bajaj Auto, Pond’s, and ICICI Bank.

Since joining Larsen & Toubro in 2022, Sumeet has been an integral part of one of India’s most respected organizations. L&T, known for its rich legacy, diverse talent pool, and strong organizational culture. His ability to partner with CEOs and CXO stakeholders across industries has enhanced both internal and external communications at the company. 

Other than his professional responsibilities, he is an active contributor to mental health awareness and support initiatives as a board member of The Minds Foundation, India, an initiative led by Dr. Raghu Appasani. Moroever, he enjoys life through new experiences, music, movies, running, and adventures like paragliding.
